The slut chronicles

Book’s name: The Slut Chronicles
Author: Kritika Sharma
Publisher: Kalamos literary services
My rating: 5/5

The slut chronicles: betrayed is exactly the kind of book which I needed to get back into reading. I was so intrigued by the book that I completed it in less than 24 hours. The book has suspense, drama, thrill love and betrayal. A complete set of ingredients to make a book interesting enough to hook a reader.

This book is the story of a girl named Ishana. She is a beautiful and stunning supermodel with a dark past which she agrees to share with a freelance writer Ravi after much persuasion. Ravi was keen on finding out about Ishana, who runs the biggest NGO in the country for abused girls yet is tagged as a SLUT by the society. She begins telling her story about how she was the shy and quiet girl who was desperate for love as she never got any affection from her family. She had an abusive mother, a father who never paid attention to household affairs and a younger brother who was too innocent to figure out what his mother used to do to his older sister.

When Ishana finally found love she was waiting for, in Dev she trusted him immediately. He came in her miserable life and she became happy for the first time in life but did that love actually changed her life for good or changed her personality forever? Was Dev her true love or she traded her miserable life for something nastier?

The language used by the author is simple yet beautiful which makes a reader glued to the book. The author has narrated the story very elegantly. The dialogues and the scenes were beautifully portrayed. I’m eagerly waiting for the next part of the book.
