15/1 story avenue
15/1 Story Avenue by Avishek Gupta is a collection of 15 short stories of different genres. Every story is penned down in an interesting way to keep readers engaged to the book. Author has used some Hindi titles in his story which makes it more intriguing.
Every story is unique and different in its own way. Every story tells a different tale, different from the rest ones. If one story is related to a simple campus romance, then other is related to a failed marriage, and other is related to some science and robotics. Whatever topic it is the author has tried frame a good tale. You can find every flavor in this book like romance, suspense, betrayal, heart – break, ┬ápatriotism, science fiction. Author has tried to do justice with every topic in the book. I enjoyed reading these short stories with a suspense of what will next chapter provide.
Out of all the stories ‘Teri Meri Hatke Love Story’ and ‘MANDROID’ are my personal favorites. I really loved these stories and they are worth reading.
The title of the book is catchy and the front cover is really beautiful with a picture of a bungalow. Stories are beautiful but I find the narration weak. Language is easy but it lacks creativity. But the stories are interesting and can be read in one go. If you are looking for a short story collection then you can give it a try and enjoy.
